Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996)
Hellraiser IV: Bloodline is the fourth installment in the Hellraiser series and starts off in a space station, in 2127. Inside, Dr. Paul Merchant uses a remote robot, which is behind a secured room, to help him open the puzzle box. Once the box is opened, we get to see a glimpse of Pinhead looking up at the camera before a gun is pointed to Dr. Paul Merchant's head by the security forces, sent in to investigate who took over the station. During interrogation Dr. Merchant tells the story of how his family came to be involved with Pinhead and the Cenobites and that he has constructed the space station to finally rid his bloodline of the curse that befell on them by destroying the puzzle box and the Cenobites.
Once franchises get to the point where they end up “in sssppppaaaccceeeeâ€, then that is usually the final nail in the coffin, however, this is a pretty good sequel that nicely tries to put an end to the plot of the Merchant bloodline with a final confrontation between Merchant and Pinhead. I do think that they spent a little too much time using footage from Hellraiser III to help tell the story but it doesn't distract too much from the rest of the film.
Goriest moment: Watching the Cenobite dog explode in the airlock.
Nazis at the Center of the Earth (2012)
A couple of scientists, drilling at the South Pole, end up getting abducted by masked men, before long the rest of the scientist team go to look for them and end up finding Nazis at the center of the earth.
This is a typical straight-to-video type of film, coupled with the hammy acting and really bad cgi - the gore effects are so-so. Nothing much to say about this one but it's only worth watching just to see MECHA-HITLER
Goriest moment: When Dr. Mengele gets annoyed that one of the experiments, using a live scientist with her head cut open exposing her brain, didn't work he pulls the brain from the still living scientist's skull and throws it on the floor.
